The Colorado Rock Art Association (CRAA) was founded in 2003 and is organized as a chapter of the Colorado Archaeological Society (CAS)
The purpose of CRAA is to encourage integrated scientific study of rock art, to advocate for its protection and conservation, and to provide educational opportunities and promote professional, avocational, and public awareness of its importance.
